Higher Human / OMAD

What is OMAD?

OMAD is short for one meal a day. Higher Human is a journal for adults who already follow OMAD or another intermittent fasting routine.

Record the routine you follow

Start and end your fast, then keep a record of when you ate. Your fasting history stays alongside meals, water and weight. You can log food whenever you need to and correct a record when your day changes.

Keep the meal in the picture

Search foods, scan a barcode or enter nutrition yourself. Choose your portions, review calories and macros, and repeat a usual plate with the amount you want. Save a draft when you need to come back later.

Give your journal a place to return to

Higher Human connects your records to a mountain journey with camps, challenges and badges. The timer, food journal and journey are free. Premium adds named camp markers on the timer, the Week Story and deeper analytics.

Your journal lives on your iPhone. Cloud backup is optional and requires consent. Data read from Apple Health stays on your device.

Know what the timer can tell you

The timer records elapsed time. Its camp markers are based on time, not measurements of changes inside your body. Read about timer camp markers or use the fasting tracker checklist to explore the app.

Before you fast

Higher Human is for adults aged 18 and over. It is a tracking tool, not medical advice. Speak with a qualified clinician before fasting if you have a health condition, take medication affected by food intake, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of disordered eating.
